MURDERVILLE: Cops hunting for 3 people after woman gunned down in broad daylight in Leslieville
It is the fifth homicide in the city since last Friday, June 30, when Maxim Karyakin was stabbed to death at noontime in Scarborough near Lawrence Ave. E. and Markham Rd..John DeLellis, who runs Pro Global Paints, said just after noontime he was in his store with a few customers when he heard three shots fired outside at the southwest corner of Carlaw Ave. and Queen St.
DeLellis said the customers in his store who witnessed the shooting outside “were really shaken up” so he and staff helped keep them safe and locked the doors.Recommended from EditorialSome unidentified passersby said they had heard an altercation originated near the South Riverdale Community Health Centre and a parkette to the west, then spilled over across the street, but Olszevski had no information to back that up.
