UPDATE: A 34-year-old woman has died following a Saturday boat incident at Lake Pleasant, according to officials.
MCSO deputies responded to the lake for a boating accident around 5 p.m. Saturday, in which a woman was hit by a boat propeller.
The woman, later identifed by officials as 32-year-old Tehanah Smith, was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. She was later pronounced dead.This is the fifth weekend in a row with a deadly incident at Lake Pleasant. The other four incidents also resulted in someone’s death.
