The single vehicle crash happened late Wednesday morning in Dickinson Township, state police said.
A 36-year-old woman died Wednesday after the car she was riding in crashed into a tree along a Cumberland County road, authorities said.
Pennsylvania State Police said a 40-year-old man lost control around 11:15 a.m. while headed west on Pine Road, near North Dickinson School Road in Dickinson Township. His vehicle crashed into a tree and sustained heavy damage. Passenger Kelly Jo Swartz, of Mount Holly Springs, was extricated and flown to a hospital, where she died, according to the Cumberland County Coroner’s Office.
