Sudbury falls to North Bay 5-4, will look for redemption on Wednesday

The Sudbury Wolves made the short trip to North Bay on Sunday afternoon to face their Northern Ontario rivals, the North Bay Battalion, for what promised to be another epic chapter in their storied rivalry.

Just over a minute later, David Goyette scored his fourth goal of the season for Sudbury to tie the game up 1-1. At 2:57 of the second period, Owen Van Steensel continued his hot scoring streak for North Bay, notching his eighth of the season to close the gap, with the Wolves now leading 3-2. Just over five minutes later, Romani scored again, his tenth of the season, to give the Battalion a 4-3 lead, which is where things stood after 40 minutes of play.
