10 PM Wednesday through 7 PM Thursday. Travel may be difficult in some narrow bands, thanks to a few inches of snow in those areas. An informational meeting was held at Leavenworth Middle School in Wolcott Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, on an upcoming vote to dissolve the Village of Wolcott.
"The Village then decided to develop what’s called an interim dissolution study to provide some facts figures and some understanding of post-dissolution governance so the village residents have some information before they go to the voting booths on March 12," said Ben Snyen of Laberge Group. "You've got 13 that are very passionate about their jobs, very passionate," said Mayor Chris Henner. "At the end of the day...this was added stress to their normal day and that was really undue, as I see it because I don't support this dissolution one bit and I believe that the village should remain a village."
