Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been insisting for months that he will lead the Liberals in the next election, but tanking polling numbers have prompted speculation amongst members yet again about a potential leadership change before the next federal run. In interviews with , well-connected Liberal insiders and MPs said that there’s no organized push from anyone in the party to oust Trudeau .

Bricker said that he did not mean to say that the Liberals would end up with two seats, but that they would lose to the Conservatives if the current trend does not change.
