Wiseburn Da Vinci overcomes a shaky start and finishes off Paraclete in four sets to win a CIF-SS title in its first finals appearance.
The victory sends the Wolves into the CIF State tournament with wins in 14 of their last 15 contests. The lone blemish was a forfeit to West Torrance on April 17.
Grant added eight blocks, giving the Wolves a steady presence at the net. Teammate Malakai Tuakoi, a freshman, added 13 kills and three blocks as part of a balanced attack. Paraclete was paced by outside hitters Jacob Linares and Santiago Vazquez, who collected nine kills apiece.
