Here are the winners of the Long Lake Stewardship draws
Long Lake Stewardship has announced the winners of is Septic Pump-Out Draw, that saw two lake residents each take home a $500 pump-out prize.The draw was open to lake residents who purchased a membership in Long Lake Stewardship.
A gift basket was also drawn. The winner, eight-year-old Ellie Dacey, took home a basket containing phosphate-free biodegradable cleaning products, fishing kit and atlas, beach towel, t-shirt, boat safety kit and décor items. The draws were held this month at the Long Lake General Store. Co-owner Mike Foligno drew the tickets.
The Long Lake Stewardship Committee is a group of nine volunteers elected at an annual general meeting who act as a voice for Long Lake to preserve and protect its water quality, ecosystem and natural habitat. The group also promotes responsible and sustainable activities in the Long Lake watershed.
