“Unchallenged,” I’d say, was the media reaction to the British Columbia government’s budget decision last week to provide prescription birth control to all B.C. residents free of charge. It wasunder provincial pharmacare, which involves some cost sharing up to a maximum expenditure per year. And it was already free to people on income assistance and people receiving First Nations Health Benefits.
