’s Westbrook Inc. has closed a deal to sell a minority stake to the media venture run by former Disney executives Tom Staggs and Kevin Mayer.
Westbrook also produces the Netflix hit “Cobra Kai,” which recently returned for its fourth season, as well “Welcome to Earth,” a National Geographic which premiered on Disney Plus. Upcoming productions indulge a Netflix docu-series about the Fourteenth Amendment entitled “Amend: The Fight For America,” as well as “Emancipation,” an action-thriller about a runaway slave that will star Will Smith and sold to Apple TV Plus.
