Southern California is experiencing unusually hot weather, combined with Santa Ana winds. There is a wind advisory for Laguna Beach until 4 p.m. today with gusts up to 45 mph expected. There's also a heat advisory for temperatures as high as the low 90s. “We no longer have a fire season, we have a fire year," Fennessy said. "It’s Feb. 10, it’s supposed to be the middle of winter. We’re anticipating 80-90 degree weather."
