How do I figure out my market value? I am a lawyer who received bar admission during the last recession and spent a few years doing temp work and doc review before landing a traditional associate position. I currently earn a low to moderate six-figure salary. I have been on more interviews than before in the past year, but it always seems to end with a hang up around pay. I generally state my salary requirement is above $150,000 but below $200,000.
You can also ask people who’ve worked at these firms previously what they think is reasonable.
