A day of skiing at Whistler Blackcomb will be out of reach for many this winter, as ticket prices increase once again. Like many other businesses, the company behind the resort is blaming inflation, among other factors. but as Alissa Thibault reports, locals say they're being priced out of their backyard mountain.
Single-day lift tickets once the season begins are $299 — something the ski resort said is due to inflation, resort investments and growing demand.
