Wednesday, April 8, 2020:The World Health Organization's European office said that despite seeing "positive signs" from some countries, it was too early to scale back measures aimed at containing the spread of the new coronavirus.
The number of new infections in the world's second hardest-hit country after Italy also grew to 146,690, up from 140,510, it added.Iran's new coronavirus death toll has climbed to 3,999, with 121 more deaths in the past 24 hours, a health ministry spokesman told state TV, adding that the total number of infections in the country has risen to 64,586.
