A Whitby man is facing charges and police are still searching for two other suspects after a break-in and carjacking at a North York home.Police say three men broke into the home, threatened the homeowner with a knife and demanded the keys to their vehicle.Members of the Provincial Carjacking Task Force got some help from mobile surveillance officers and York Regional Air Support quickly caught up with the Whitby man near Midland Avenue and Huntingwood Drive.
Ahmad Kayhan Nazer, 23, of Whitby was arrested charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, break and enter, robbery with an offensive weapon and possession of property obtained by crime.Anyone with information can call police at 416-808-7350 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477 .
