Throughout the series, the Addamses encounter all sorts of wacky events and locations that result in amusing misadventures.
The Addams Family: The Animated Series Following the success of Sonnenfeld's 1991 film, an animated series was quickly developed, and the end result is The Addams Family: The Animated Series which ran from 1992 to 1993. Like with the 1973 animated series, this 1992 animated show leans more towards the family-friendly side of The Addams Family and strays a bit from the darker, more mature aspects of the franchise.
The New Addams Family In 1998, a reboot of The Addams Family was produced, called The New Addams Family. This reboot was intended to capture the spirit of the original 1960s series as this series also functions as a sitcom in which the Addams Family gets involved in a wide variety of sitcom-related storylines and conflicts. While the TV show is separate from Addams Family Reunion, Nicole Fugere reprises her role as Wednesday Addams.
