GTA 2-year-old toddler to see his name among the stars with launch of trio of satellites by Canadian company.

Gaspard and his father Jean-Francois Gauthier have travelled to California from Campbellville to watch the launch of a rocket that carries a satellite with Gaspard’s name on it.which will launch three satellites“Having a small satellite like this named after my first son is so exciting. It’s such an honour,” Gauthier, who is vice-president of strategy at GHGSat, said.

The three satellites Mei-Lin , Gaspard , and Océane will travel aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-7 Rideshare mission, adding to the six satellites GHGSat already has in orbit. The Montreal-based company is a pioneer in designing satellites that attribute greenhouse gas emissions to individual facilities, helping governments, industries and financial services reduce emissions.
