Pike's Enterprise can use Kirk's help.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Where was Lt. James T. Kirk in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2 finale, and can he save Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the USS Enterprise from the Gorn? In Strange New Worlds season 2, episode 10, "Hegemony," Captain Pike is placed in a no-win scenario: If Pike withdraws from conflict with the Gorn as Starfleet orders, he leaves kidnapped members of his crew in the alien reptiles' clutches.
Lt. James T. Kirk is likely back aboard the USS Farragut in Strange New Worlds season 2's finale. Kirk was promoted to First Officer of the Farragut, making him the youngest Number One in Starfleet, and breaking his father, Lt. Commander George Kirk's record, to boot. However, another possibility is that James is on shore leave. Kirk revealed to La'an that his on-again/off-again girlfriend, Carol Marcus, is pregnant.
