So, when you should create a new V in Cyberpunk 2077 from scratch, starting over a playthrough or beginning a new one, and when should you just keep your existing one?
– I mean duh, you have to create a new V if you’ve never played before. The only thing I would mention is here toskip ahead to Phantom Liberty, as you can take a new character straight there at launch. Do not recommend this just in terms of how the narrative of the whole game works.– Yeah, almost certainly start over. If you played way back closer to launch and put in 5-15 hours or whatever and just sort of dropped it, I would definitely start over fresh.
It will be a cleaner experience and work as a refresher for the start of the game which you may have forgotten.– I’ve heard some people start getting pre-hyped about Phantom Liberty so they picked up Cyberpunk and started playing already. In this case, if you’re still following the story, I’m not sure there is that much benefit in starting over, particularly if you’re still doing “Jackie” stuff, as not much is going to change with 2.0 that early, probably just some different tutorials.
