When it comes to doing the deed, Maria emphasizes that honesty is so important.
Sometimes it can be easy to act selfishly during a breakup. The relationship isn't working for you anymore so you end it. But when you're dealing with someone you care about, that can be harder. Maria recommends thinking about what would make the news come as less of a shock to your soon-to-be ex. Break it to them lightly. Do it somewhere they feel comfortable, like their home. And, be aware of timing.
