The lawsuit, filed in Collin County, included the partially redacted letter. The woman, according to the letter, seeks $100 million in exchange for not disclosing or pursuing criminal charges in connection with a 2017 sexual encounter. The letter was sent to an email address associated withLevi G. McCathern, Prescott’s Dallas-based attorney, said the quarterback denies a sexual assault took place.
“This story about extortion, we were really taken aback when we saw it, but this is just a legal maneuver and I mean, this is a classic move to discredit sexual assault victims,” Zehaie said in his interview on the Cowboys’ flagship radio station.A letter from the woman’s attorneys includes details about an incident that occurred in Plano on or around Feb. 2, 2017, following Prescott’s rookie season with the Cowboys.
