According to the Social Security Administration, more than 16,500 girls were named Olivia in 2022, representing 0.93% of total female births – or about 1-in-100. This is the most popular Olivia has ever been as a name.

Near the top of the lists for 2022, there were not many changes from a year earlier, with Olivia, Emma, Charlotte and Amelia again taking spots for one through four for girls, respectively, according to data released Friday by Social Security Administration.

She's followed by Amelia, Sophia, Isabella, Ava, Mia, Evelyn and Luna. For boys’ names, Liam is followed by Noah, Oliver, James, Elijah, William, Henry, Lucas, Benjamin and Theodore.
