Now that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have filed for divorce, Jennifer Garner is offering her support to her ex-husband. According to a source, Affleck 'has confided in Jen in a lot of ways' throughout his marriage issues with Lopez. Here's what she reportedly thinks about the split.

According to a source, Garner–who shares three kids with Affleck–was rooting for the couple to get through their rough patch and make their relationship work. “Jen was hopeful that things would work out between them but of course, she just wants them to be happy,” an insider told, and also setting boundaries about how involved she is in Lopez and Affleck’s relationship issues.
Affleck and Lopez spent most of the summer apart, with the “On the Floor” singer hanging out with friends and family in the Hamptons while the Justiceactor focused on work in Los Angeles. Affleck prioritized spending time with his family, and the insider said that his ex-wife became his confidante while he navigated relationship tension with Lopez.“There’s a deep level of trust and respect between them,” the source said, adding that the exes “also get along really well.
