A WFAN host shut down a caller who discredited her.
McCartan, whose Twitter bio notes she’s from Bergen County, has been a part-time host for WFAN since 2018. On Sunday, Ralph from Lakewood, New Jersey called in to share his displeasure with the way“I’m sorry, what’s going on is pathetic, OK, because when the Mets signed [Max] Scherzer and signed [Justin] Verlander, every single radio host was psyched. All of a sudden, now that they’re not performing, we expect the general managers to be prophets and to know what’s going on.
At one point, Ralph says that McCartan was not coming to the show with content, which crossed the line for the host: “You know what Ralph?” McCartan said. “I’m not coming with content? Are you freaking kidding me?! I come with content every goddamn week there Ralph! You’re a joke there, Ralph!“That’s a joke there, Ralph, right? No one does more homework than me on this radio station, I dare you to go find someone! Ridiculous!”

During the episode we talk about the approach that All Sides takes to try to counter media bias, the overall media landscape and how biased journalism & reporting (even though bias is natural) impacts all of us in one way or another. We also discuss how ownership can influence media coverage, how capitalism influences the making of news and the future of legacy media. — FIND OUT MORE ABOUT ALL SIDES — All Sides: Instagram: Twitter: Facebook: — DOWNLOAD MY FREE TRAINING ‘DEBATE TO DIALOGUE’ — — LISTEN TO CYLINDER RADIO — Website: Apple Podcasts: YouTube: — SUPPORT MY WORK — Patreon: Instagram: My Website:
