“I’m so happy,” Sage’s handler, Kaz Hosaka, said after the win.“Today’s the day,” Hosaka said on the FS1 telecast. “My last show.”
Longtime dog handler Kaz Hosaka, who has been showing dogs at Westminster for 45 years, retired with a big victory.Hosaka, who lives in Greenwood, Delaware, also won best in show in 2002 with Spice, who was the first miniature poodle to take the honor since 1959.Giant schnauzer Monty with his handler, Katie Bernardin.
