Dogs are competing at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City. A winner will be crowned Tuesday night. The dog show is the second-longest continuously held sporting event in the U.S. after the Kentucky Derby, according to Westminster, beginning in 1877. It has been televised since 1948.The show is back in New York City for the first time since 2020. It is taking place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens after being held at an estate in Westchester County the past two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
