West University Place weekly crime report for Jan. 26-Feb. 1
West University Place's weeklyAn officer performing a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Amherst discovered the suspect was in possession of drug paraphernalia.
A traffic stop conducted in the 2600 block of Nottingham resulted in officers discovered the driver to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and had several open warrants. Gilbert Matias, who has a previous criminal history of assault and harassment, was in custody in connection with the traffic violation and drug paraphernalia.
