No one was at home at the time the fire in the Lakewood area broke out.
At approximately 12:50 p.m., firefighters were called to a home in the 900-block of Inez Crescent.
“First responders found a fire on the exterior of the home that had moved into the soffit and attic space. Crews quickly suppressed the fire and any extension through the attic,” a statement issued by the City of Prince George on Monday said.The cause of the fire was under investigation, as of Monday morning.
