“I want everyone to be happy that their dogs can be part of their special day,” says Pawfect Companions founder Kaylee Gilmar, who is offering several service options to look after the happy couple’s furry animals throughout their wedding day
A local animal lover is breaking into the Sault’s wedding scene with a unique idea that she believes will have a paw-some impact on dogs and couples alike.
A PSW by day, Gilmar came up with the idea when she ran into some pet-related issues on her own wedding day in August 2022. Open to pups of all breeds and ages, Gilmar says her idea is unique to the Sault and she senses there’s a strong demand for this type of pet service in the community. Already having booked eight weddings for 2023, Gilmar has been pleased with the amount of positive feedback she’s receiving from clients and businesses alike.
