STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS
The recent cold snap has accelerated sea ice growth in the Northumberland Strait. The relatively mild winter led to a slow start to sea ice formation for much of the region, with most of the recent growth from the end of February into March. With milder temperatures forecast, we’ll likely begin to see this ice breakup a bit throughout the week. Thanks for sharing, Ray.
