The beloved country music megastar Dolly Parton is in Frisco this week where she opened the Dolly! All Access pop-up store on Tuesday.

"This is so great," an exuberant Parton told a crowd of reporters, photographers, and social media influencers before the doors officially opened."They did such a good job 'cause it's like walking into a museum." The store has Dolly's costumes on display from her decades-long career, as well as Dolly merchandise from T-shirts to mugs, to baking mixes to buy.
"I take joy in the fact that I've been able to see all my little Smokey Mountain dreams come true," Parton said."I ain't getting no younger, but like I told my husband, I ain't getting no older!""To be the country music capital of the world here for a week in May. The stars and entertainers are arriving as we speak," Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney said.
"Man, I think it's a really cool time for Frisco, but it's also a really cool time for country music," country artist Corey Kent said."For a long time there seemed to be a big division between Texas country and Nashville country, and this to me is a nice symbolic merging of the two," Kent said."I just try to love people," Parton said."I try to find the God light in everybody.
