For a lot of the Calgary Flames, it will be nice to finally get to Friday’s 1 p.m. deadline and have the whole thing settled
One person who seems like he would prefer if the Flames were quiet on deadline day is head coach Darryl Sutter.“To be quite honest, as a coach you back your players,” Sutter said. “Everybody’s talking about all these players on the outside. Well, if you’re a team that’s still in the growth part of , you want to make sure you’re mindful of your young guys who are having really good years and you’re not going to push them out for some short-term fix.
