We recommend in the Democratic primary for Texas House District 108 | Opinion
Voters have a choice between two good candidates in the Democratic primary for Texas House District 108, covering the Park Cities and northern Dallas County.
In a close call, our recommendation goes to Ginsberg, whose answers on policy issues went deeper than Heald’s and whose work as an attorney would give her an advantage as a legislator. We agree with that assessment and have seen it impact races across North Texas. But we appreciate Ginsberg’s willingness to see that moderation is becoming rarer on both sides. Even as she embraces some policy positions that we would disagree with, we see Ginsberg as a common-sense candidate who would be willing and able to work on legislation that advances the state, rather than being someone who would get bogged down in political fighting.
