In partnership with the organisers of the Christmas Lights Switch On, BIDPreston and SmoothNorthWest, we are seeking nominations for a Proud Prestonian to switch on the city’s Christmas lights... So get nominating! ✨
on Saturday 19 November from 5.30pm, and will feature a packed show full of performers and special guests.The winner of this competition will be invited on stage to speak to the event’s presenters in front of a huge home crowd, before joining famous faces to light up their city.
Nominations are open for Prestonians who have done some amazing things during 2022; someone who’s a great community champion, and flies the flag for Preston. ‘courageous’ and ‘inspiring’Do you know someone? Complete the form below outlining who you are nominating, and why. Nominations close on Wednesday 9 November. Please ask permission from the person you are nominating, as they must be available to attend the event.
We’ll also throw in a £70 Preston Gift Card and two tickets to attend the Switch On’s sponsor’s reception.
