A county fire destroyed two homes, leaving at least one family struggling to get by.
Ajanique Williams and her three kids have been hopping from hotel to hotel since they lost everything on May 12th. The fire burned all of their belongings.
“We lost everything. Looking at the house… I don’t even have words for it. I want to start crying but I’m on camera,” said Williams.Williams said she and her family have spent the last 15 years at the home. She tried staying optimistic, saying the materialistic things can be replaced but followed by saying things with sentimental value will be greatly missed.
“Spending money that we don’t have and that we didn’t expect to spend. We’ve been room to room… go buy clothes like every day,” said Williams.
