Fully 90% of those who enter the criminal justice system will be released. For years finding a job, let alone a career was extraordinarily difficult in the face of so many obstacles: the stigma of having done time, the onerous process of obtaining a professional license and rules against licensing qualified offenders and facing the check box for “criminal record” on a job application.
