This comes after local leaders say they have had enough and are now doing something about it.
“12-year-old killing 15-year-old, 17-year-old losing his life right outside of a high school,” said Reese.“The terror of waking up of waking up to gunshots at 4 o’clock in the morning with children in the house and the fear of not knowing if anyone in your house has been shot,” said Veda Ray.Her group, along with local leaders and organizations, hosted one Saturday at Glenville High School, hoping to make a difference in their community.
“We can make a difference. We might not can stop it all. But we can do it one at a time,” said Reese.
