Richard Neal’s comments come after the administration rebuffed multiple requests for Trump’s tax returns.
By Erica Werner Erica Werner Congressional reporter focusing on economic policy Email Bio Follow May 7 at 8:22 PM House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal had first requested Trump’s tax returns in March, and Mnuchin twice failed to meet Democrats’ deadlines before formalizing his refusal in his letter Monday.
