Junction Creek committee putting on event as part of Science North’s Earth Weekend Celebration
The Junction Creek Stewardship Committee is holding a Water Stewardship Gathering at Science North Sunday, April 23.
This event is a place to gather and grow as water stewards using an approach that braids community action, Indigenous knowledge, and western science. It is a great opportunity to learn and share stories about local waterways that are important to you, connect with stewardship groups and Knowledge Holders, and gain the tools to help take care of our beautiful lakes, wetlands, and streams. The event runs in the Ramsey Room and foyer at Science North from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 23.
