While that in itself is stupid, the incident, which happened July 22 afternoon, gets worse: as the thief was attempting to evade arrest, she took a hard left turn and hit one of three police officers on a bicycle. An older model Toyota Camry was beside the vehicle, and the video of point-of-impact looks, well—maybe don’t look. Fine, if you really want to,from the embed below.
Thankfully, the officer was taken to hospital and escaped the situation, and was treated for his non-life threatening injuries.Article content
