Porsche unveiled the first 911 S model for 1966, complete with an upgraded 2.0-liter flat-six known as the 901/02. Compared to the standard 130 hp Type 901/01, the 901/02 engine provided a significant output boost of 160 hp. Over time that output figure would rise as high as 190 hp in themodels. The hopped-up flat-six would also be developed on the motorsports side of the company, with the so-called 901/20 serving duty in the 904 and 906 race cars, providing a healthy 210 hp.

The clip in question was reportedly filmed during an Oldtimer Grand Prix track day at the Ring, and as such you’ll notice quite a few aging machines on track. That said, the vast majority of the cars we see in the clip are quite a bit newer than the old Porker, but that doesn’t stop the driver in question from making a few passes as they traverse the Nordschleife.
