Hosts on TheView called former President Donald Trump’s bluff, predicting he will, in fact, return to Twitter now that ElonMusk has purchased the social media platform.
Following the announcement that Musk bought Twitter for around $44 billion, Trump said he would only post on his social media platform, Truth Social, even if he were allowed to return to Twitter.
“I think Trump is going to come back to Twitter,” guest host Amber Ruffin said, chuckling. “It’s going to be horrible but also very hilarious. We forget how hilarious Trump is.” Ruffin gave the example of Trump labeling Putin’s threat of nuclear war as the “n-word” during his recent Fox Nation interview with Piers Morgan, noting that Putin should not “use the nuclear word ever again.”“Oh my god. It’s the best. It’s the best,” Ruffin laughed. “And I’m sorry, but Trump is very horrible. We all dislike him very much. That man is hilarious. That’s one of the funniest things I ever — the n-word, the n-word."“He’s as funny as a herpes store — sore,” Behar said.
