Another summer camp has been forced to close its doors early due to staffing shortages. Rainbow Camp, operated by The Welcome Friend Association, announced over the weekend that they were being forced to shutter for the remainder of the summer.

The Sault’s annual Pridefest kicked off Sunday at the Civic Center with the raising of the Pride Flag. This year marks the 10th year of Pridefest and over the next two weeks, various events will be held. A Sault Ste. Marie landmark has been put up for sale. St. Andrews United Church on Wellington Street was listed for just under one million dollars last week. The church which is 148 years old has seen a significant dip in membership over the years but they insist they aren’t closing.

Stacks and stacks of flapjacks are coming to a new Northern Avenue development. Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House will occupy one of 5 new spaces at the former Pennington’s location.
