Browns defensive end Myles Garrett leapt over a lineman to block a 60-yard field goal attempt by Colts kicker Matt Gay in the second quarter on Sunday.

Garrett leapt clear over two Colts blockers, which is legal, and got a piece of the kick from Gay. Denzel Ward then scooped up the ball and returned it to the Indianapolis 28-yard line. The field goal block led to a 44-yard field goal by Dustin Hopkins to give the Browns a 17-14 lead in the second quarter.
Earlier in the game, Garrett set up another score when he strip-sacked Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew II. Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr., a former Colt, recovered the fumble.Garrett cleanly beat Colts left tackle Bernhard Raimann and got to the quarterback, forcing the fumble. The Browns scored a touchdown on the drive as Kareem Hunt took a direct snap two yards for a touchdown.
