Pat McAfee and guest picker, Joe Namath, each took Alabama —Corso, who joined ESPN in 1987, soaked up the opportunity to egg on the home crowd Saturday, professing his adoration for Alabama’s campus, the area’s football fans, and the football program’s winning culture, before breaking into his “Sweet Home Alabama” bit.
Fellow ESPN analyst, Kirk Herbstreit, sitting beside Corso on camera, appeared to be in on the joke, giving Corso the “wrap it up” sign as he worked through his pre-pick Alabama endorsement.gets underway at 6 p.m. CST on ESPN.
