Torontonians have sadly become sitting ducks waiting to be victimized.

“This guy took a swing at me and landed his fist into the bike helmet that I was carrying – shattering a piece of the interior safety shell,” said Joe Cristiano. “Had I not been holding it, he would have slammed me square in the right shoulder.”“I don’t know the guy, never ever saw him before and didn’t make eye contact,” said Cristiano. “He just walked over and slugged me on a street full of people.

His name may seem familiar to you because Cristiano is the producer of Moore in the Morning, a popular show on Newstalk 1010 hosted by John Moore, who recently co-moderated the mayoral debate on CP24. Too many people are being victimized by a menacing group of individuals who roam the streets with behaviour that is unpredictable and violent.Former CBC radio producer Michael Finlay. There has been next to no discussion or debate about this enormous problem in the mayoral by-election race, which means no matter who wins Monday, there will likely be no addressing it.

I also wrote about an unnamed 83-year-old woman who was pushed to her death at Yonge and King Sts. and a Toronto chef who was stabbed after a concert at the Phoenix on Sherbourne Ave.
