The life of a city dog can be trying. The tight living quarters and limited roaming spaces are enough to leave an active canine restless.
That’s something Patrick and Danielle Robak noticed when they brought their Vizsla, Denver, back to their Brooklyn, home. That’s when the two members of the financial service industry noticed the untapped market in the city: lots of dogs, lots of runners, but sometimes, they just don’t match up., a site that pairs dog owners and dog-loving runners together to get the canines exercise.
Now, you don’t just sign up on the site and swing by to pick up your pooch five minutes later. Runners, or “dashers” as their are called on the site, undergo a background check with references and a questionnaire. This helps put dog owners at ease.
