Market volatility is here to stay, according to market veteran Phil Blancato. He names his top stock picks — and predicts when stocks will rally.
Investors are bracing for more volatility ahead, as they navigate what has traditionally been a "seasonally weak" period for stocks . Major U.S. averages closed out their third negative week in a row last week, weighed down by fears that the U.S. Federal Reserve will continue to pursue aggressive interest rate hikes to temper inflation.
What to buy on the dip Blancato believes this is a "great opportunity" to buy on the dip, with "wonderful names" that are now significantly less expensive than they were just a couple of weeks ago. He favors dividend-paying stocks and companies with good cash flow. "I like volatility. I take advantage of markets like this," he said.
