Two Democrats and one Democrat-turned-independent are among the most unpopular senators in the United States.
Sens. Joe Manchin , Tammy Baldwin , and Kyrsten Sinema are three of the most unpopular senators in the country, according to a poll from the Morning Consult. The revelation comes at a time when Manchin is at his most vulnerable point in his career. The centrist Democrat, who has been flirting with a presidential run, is facing an imposing challenger in his 2024 Senate election in the form of the popular Gov. Jim Justice . Current projections have Justice winning in a landslide.
The news wasn't all bad for Manchin — he saw a 4% increase in his approval rating compared with the first quarter of 2023, according to the poll. His disapproval rating also declined by 7%. But this was driven by an increase in favorability among Republicans — who are far more likely to favor Justice.

Her overall approval rate now lies at 42%, compared to 44% who disapprove.
