Election Day is forecast to be muggy and mostly dry, according to the National Weather Service.
If you’re late heading to the polls, there’s a 20 percent chance of showers before 9 p.m. The nighttime low is expected to be around 68 degrees. The midterm elections were off to a strong start in San Antonio. By 9 a.m., nearly 24,000 people had voted, the Bexar County Elections Department reported. Gloria and Javier Jacinto Cazares, parents of 9-year-old Robb Elementary shooting victim Jackie Cazares, walk out of the SSGT Willie de Leon Civic Center in Uvalde, Texas, Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, after casting their early ballots with other parents who lost children in the mass shooting. Javier is running as a write-in candidate for Pct. 2 Uvalde County Commissioner.
